Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy aimed at addressing emotional disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that treatment is tailored to the unique needs and desires of each student.

• Collaboratively work with teachers and school staff to incorporate mental health interventions into the educational environment, promoting student engagement and success.

• Conduct Developmentally appropriate and evidence-based screenings to identify mental health needs and refer students for additional services when necessary.

• Participate in crisis intervention efforts to provide immediate support to students in distress while ensuring a safe environment.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage with families to facilitate communication, offer support strategies, and provide education about mental health resources.

• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with children and adolescents who may be facing significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the social and environmental contexts of your clients, primarily focusing on underserved populations in Orlando. The ability to connect with and support diverse cultural backgrounds is essential in delivering impactful care tailored to individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
