This position is set within a remote framework that allows you to serve students from various educational institutions. You will have the tools and resources necessary to perform assessments, offer counseling, and create supportive networks for families. Although primarily remote, this role may require occasional visits to schools or community organizations to engage directly with clients and facilitate workshops or support groups.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand and identify clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges that may hinder their academic success.

• Develop personalized service plans that detail specific goals, interventions, and methods for tracking progress.

• Provide individual and family counseling tailored to address various life challenges, including emotional distress related to academic performance or social interactions.

• Collaborate with clients to map out strong service plans and connect them with relevant community resources and services.

• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment to ensure the safety and well-being of students and families, including safety planning as needed.

• Work closely with community agencies and organizations to coordinate services and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of services available through Rushton Health Valley Care.

• Take part in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development training to enhance service delivery and maintain alignment with organization goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students and their families, particularly those experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that interfere with their academic pursuits. You will help these clients navigate the complexities of their situations, providing both immediate support and long-term strategies to foster resilience and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong foundation in social work principles and practices, particularly within educational or community settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
