Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as the primary liaison between students, families, and outpatient providers, ensuring cohesive care and support are delivered seamlessly.

• Communicate with insurance companies to manage pre-certification and utilization, allowing for effective authorizations and access to services.

• Contribute to discharge and aftercare planning, ensuring students receive the follow-up support they need to thrive after intensive care.

• Provide therapeutic meal support, modeling and fostering a healthy relationship with food among students.
\n
• Deliver empathetic care tailored to each child’s unique circumstances, considering their intersecting identities and specific needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on students of varying ages within a school context. You will work with children and teenagers facing emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges that impact their ability to learn effectively. Understanding and navigating the complexities of these issues while remaining culturally competent will be foundational to your success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Possession of a valid LCSW license within the state of California.
\n
• Experience working with older adults is preferred; however, experience with children and adolescents is critical.

• Demonstrated strong clinical and diagnostic skills to address various mental health issues.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with students and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
