This position operates in a climate-controlled remote setting, although you will also interact frequently with educational institutions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct patient assessments to identify mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans that respect cultural diversity and special requirements.

• Provide evidence-based therapy to patients, continuously evaluating treatment effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plans, adhering to regulatory requirements.

• Work collaboratively with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the treatment process.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and provide resources to aid in their recovery.

• Participate in the supervision and mentorship of students, interns, and volunteers within the organization.

• Contribute to clinical discussions and case reviews, providing insight and support to other clinicians as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families affected by cancer, providing therapeutic support that addresses not only psychological issues but also helps to mitigate stress associated with treatment journeys. You'll be expected to incorporate holistic approaches that speak to their emotional, social, and educational needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
