This contract opportunity offers you the chance to positively impact students aged 11-14, guiding a manageable caseload of 5-10 learners. You’ll serve as a Special Education Case Manager, collaborating closely with staff and families to foster growth and achievement throughout the school year.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid teaching certification with Multicategorical or Emotional Disabilities (ED) endorsement
• Proven experience or coursework related to Special Education teaching practices
• Ability to support and manage behavior goals for middle school students
• Compassion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners
• Comfortable using virtual platforms for collaboration and meetings
• Commitment to a contract assignment through May 2027 (or until notified of contract end)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and behavior intervention for students on your caseload
• Act as Case Manager: Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff
• Track progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and adhere to all timelines
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment at a single middle school campus
• Participate in virtual interviews and meetings as required
