Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions including month end processes, preparing financial reports, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable.Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Accounting Manager responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts documenting business transactionsPrepares GL Account and Bank ReconciliationPrepares financial statements and other reports to summarize the company's financial position.Identifies control gaps, develops and implements appropriate control procedures to resolve control deficienciesAssists in preparation for internal and external auditsDevelop financial analysis and cost accounting skillsOversees payroll and AP functionsAssist with physical inventoryPerform bank reconciliationBachelor Degree in Accounting or FinanceSolid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAPExperience working with an ERP systemsThree (3) years Plant Manufacturing experienceExpertise in all Microsoft Office programsWorking experience using an AS400 system is a plus
