Role Overview
Provide expert Hindi linguistic support across translation, localization, editing, and quality assurance to ensure clarity, cultural relevance, and consistency across digital, print, and audio content. This remote contract role contributes linguistic judgment and style guidance while collaborating with cross-functional teams on high-impact communications.
Key Responsibilities- Translate, proofread, and localize content between English and Hindi, ensuring meaning, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
- Develop, edit, and review high-quality written materials for digital, print, and audio formats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold language standards and provide linguistic expertise for projects.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance on Hindi language materials to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Help create and maintain language resources, glossaries, and style guides tailored to project requirements.
- Provide verbal and written communication support for presentations and other high-impact engagements.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in Hindi linguistics, terminology, and digital communication best practices.
Required
- Native-level proficiency in Hindi, with strong written and spoken command of the language.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and nuance.
- Solid foundation in linguistics and language structure.
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organization and time management skills for remote work.
- Proficiency with translation tools, digital content platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality language services.
Preferred
- Prior professional experience as a Hindi language specialist, translator, or linguist.
- Background in content development, localization, or digital media.
