Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with clients both in the office and community to provide clinical services to individuals facing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

• Participate actively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals, fostering an environment of cooperation and trust.

• Conduct thorough, evidence-based screenings and assessments, tailoring care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Create and implement integrated care plans, facilitating communication among clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

• Deliver a variety of focused prevention and treatment services, such as individual, group, and family therapy, responding to the specific needs expressed by clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support as needed, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients in distress.

• Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of reports to meet organizational standards and improve service quality.

• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

• Engage in on-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned to ensure client needs are met at all times.

• Contribute to committees focused on improving service delivery and overall agency quality assessment initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at Brighter Soul Counseling will primarily involve clients facing significant mental health challenges, including diagnoses of major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and other severe emotional disturbances. The clientele will often come from diverse backgrounds, requiring culturally competent care and the ability to work respectfully with individuals of varying traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.

• A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, ideally in community health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Brighter Soul Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
