HR Administrative Assistant

HR Administrative Assistant – Mission Valley, San Diego, CA LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrative Assistant to join our client's team in Mission Valley, San Diego. This position will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department while helping ensure accurate employee records and efficient daily operations.

Job Duties

• Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with daily HR operations
• Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR documentation
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new-hire paperwork
• Support I-9 verification, employment documentation, and personnel file maintenance
• Assist with scheduling interviews, orientations, and employee meetings
• Respond to employee questions and direct HR-related inquiries to the appropriate team member
• Enter and update employee information in HRIS and other internal systems
• Assist with benefits administration, payroll documentation, and timekeeping as needed
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other HR documents
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information

Qualifications

• 1+ year of administrative or HR support experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Experience with an HRIS or employee database preferred
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR education or experience preferred

Assignment Details:

• Contract to hire role
• Onsite
• Located in Mission Valley, San Diego
• Compensation: $22.00-$29.00 per hour DOE
• Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
