Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough patient intakes to assess mental health needs, including diagnostic evaluations and functional assessments, which will inform treatment recommendations to primary care providers.

• Provide targeted interventions for patients requiring immediate mental health support, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate with primary care providers to identify patients’ suitability for primary care mental health services or refer to specialized facilities as needed.

• Develop and monitor individualized treatment and relapse prevention plans, following up with patients to evaluate their progress and adapt strategies as necessary.

• Document patient care and progress diligently in treatment charts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

• Support patients in achieving their treatment goals by fostering self-management skills and providing educational resources.
\n
• Coach and assist patients in integrating their mental and physical health treatments, particularly in managing side effects of prescribed medications.

Your role will encompass a diverse client base that includes individuals dealing with various mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex psychosocial issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is required.

• Active Licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.

• Strong understanding of the DSM-IV classifications and psychodiagnostic strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $87,000 to $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
