Radiologic Technologist – RWJBarnabas Health

A typical day for a Radiologic Technologist may include:

• Performing diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Operating diagnostic, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Positioning patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensuring patient comfort while maintaining the highest standards of care.
• Following radiation safety protocols and maintaining compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
• Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining imaging records.

To be considered for this Radiologic Technologist opportunity:

• Licensed by the State of New Jersey.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration preferred.
• RT certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required ; 5 years of experience preferred .
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.
