Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for young adults to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other through engaging discussions.

• Conduct individual therapy, offering personalized counseling that empowers clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with clients in crafting individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and personal goals.

• Monitor client progress through continuous evaluation using assessment tools and feedback methods to adapt treatment as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, providing outpatient treatment for those dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will play a pivotal role in fostering an environment of healing and hope, guiding your clients on their path to recovery amid their everyday challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.

• Current LPC licensure in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.

• Commitment to ethical practice and a deep understanding of mental health treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience working with young adults in therapeutic settings, as well as familiarity with evidence-based treatments and holistic approaches, will be highly advantageous. Additionally, experience in a community health clinic or similar environment can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
