Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, abilities, and mental health status to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing overall patient functioning and resolving symptoms.

• Provide various forms of psychotherapy including individual, family, couple, and group sessions, ensuring that treatment modalities align with clinical appropriateness.

• Act as a primary therapist for patients, leading group therapy sessions with psychiatric patients and fostering supportive therapeutic environments.

• Collaborate with the psychiatry team and other healthcare professionals on program planning, offering insights from individual patient cases to inform group treatment strategies.

• Stay informed and comply with relevant program and regulatory standards while securing and documenting pertinent patient data effectively.

• Maintain the ethical standards of the counseling profession as well as those of Premire Counseling & Wellness Services.

• Engage in crisis intervention and triage evaluations in both outpatient and inpatient settings, offering immediate support for patients in distress.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse population, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor license (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in a clinical context.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical counseling standards.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various demographics.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in using EMR software and other technologies to document and track client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couple therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
