Key Responsibilities\n

• Regularly communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to report on client progress, needs, and any pertinent concerns or issues that may arise.

• Maintain meticulous and timely records, including clinical assessments and progress notes, in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to develop effective treatment plans based on psychosocial assessments, including post-treatment discharge plans.
\n
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to clients, effectively addressing emotional and behavioral issues through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Consult and coordinate treatment efforts with clients' families and support systems to foster holistic support and involvement in the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, addressing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Being situated in a school environment will allow you to respond to students' immediate and long-term mental health needs, facilitating their overall academic and social development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is essential.

• At least three years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, ideally involving work with school-aged populations, is preferred.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital communication platforms, are necessary for documentation and client engagement.

• The ability to work independently, demonstrating high levels of organization and self-motivation, is vital for success in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in educational settings and familiarity with school-based mental health interventions will be advantageous. Additional training in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or similar methodologies may enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
