Accounts Payable SpecialistAre you someone who takes pride in keeping things accurate, organized, and moving on schedule? One of our clients in Kent, WA is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounting team during a busy period. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative environment where your attention to detail, ability to manage priorities, and commitment to accuracy will make an immediate impact.
In this position, you will:- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor records
- Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Work closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues
- Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience processing invoices in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of invoice matching and payment processing
- Experience researching and resolving discrepancies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP/accounting systems
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
