Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist / Accountant to step in and provide immediate support to their accounting team. What You'll Do
- Process full-cycle accounts payable with a high degree of accuracy
- Match, code, and enter vendor invoices while ensuring timely payment processing
- Assist with general accounting responsibilities and support the Controller as needed
- Reconcile vendor statements and research invoice discrepancies
- Maintain organized accounting records and vendor documentation
- Partner with internal departments and vendors to resolve questions and ensure smooth payment processes
- Support additional accounting projects and month-end activities as assigned
- Previous experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable
- General accounting experience beyond AP is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Self-motivated professional who enjoys working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Stable, well-established organization
- Friendly, team-oriented accounting department
- Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (40-hour workweek)
- Opportunity to make an immediate impact supporting an experienced Controller
- Convenient location near Portland International Airport (PDX)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Location: 100% onsite near PDX
