HR Manager

HR ManagerFerraro Foods is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support and execute key Human Resources initiatives across employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, payroll support, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR operations. This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and leaders while helping drive HR best practices, maintain compliance with employment laws, and support the continued growth of the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance strategic priorities with day-to-day HR operations.What You'll Be Working OnSupport the administration and implementation of Human Resources policies, programs, and proceduresPartner with managers and employees on employee relations matters, coaching, performance management, and workplace concernsCoordinate recruitment activities, onboarding, and hiring processes across the organizationAdminister employee benefits programs, open enrollment, leave administration, workers' compensation, disability, unemployment, and FMLA processesMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsSupport payroll-related processes including employee data changes, time and attendance administration, and reportingMaintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirementsCoordinate and track performance evaluations and employee development initiativesAssist with compensation administration, promotions, status changes, and organizational updatesPrepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and hiring activity updates for leadershipDevelop, implement, and improve HR procedures, workflows, and standard operating proceduresConduct workplace investigations and support disciplinary actions and terminations when necessaryMonitor legislative changes and assist with policy updates to ensure ongoing compliancePartner with internal departments regarding staffing, employee engagement, and organizational needsSupport safety, compliance, and additional Human Resources initiatives as assignedThe Ingredients for SuccessStrong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, compliance, and HR best practicesExperience administering benefits, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, unemployment, and payroll-related processesKnowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulationsADP Workforce Now experience requiredStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applicationsDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departmentsPreferred IngredientsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of Human Resources experienceSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificationExperience supporting HR functions within distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other fast-paced operational environmentsThe DetailsPosition: Full-Time, ExemptWork Location: OnsiteSchedule: Monday – Friday | Standard business hoursCompensation: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experienceBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid holidays, and additional voluntary benefit offeringsWhy Join Ferraro Foods?Ferraro Foods has been serving customers across the food industry for more than 50 years.
