Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs, goals, and challenges.

• Implement and facilitate therapeutic sessions utilizing various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling when clients present with acute emotional distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Document client progress meticulously, maintaining thorough records in line with organizational standards while adhering to confidentiality regulations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage clients in developing coping strategies, enhancing their communication skills, and fostering resilience in facing life challenges.

• Facilitate workshops and support groups, enhancing community resources and fostering peer support as a complement to individual therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are diverse and may include individuals, couples, and families struggling with various issues such as marital discord, anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life transitions. As an LMFT, you will guide clients through evidence-based therapeutic interventions, creating a safe and trusting atmosphere where they can navigate their struggles and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required to qualify for licensure.

• Must have a valid LMFT license in New York State, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to liaise with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapy as a licensed marriage and family therapist is preferred. Proficiency in telehealth practices and familiarity with digital therapeutic tools, including electronic health records (EHR), will enhance your capability to deliver effective care remotely.

Compensation and Benefits\n
