Position: Research Associate – Molecular Biology and Biochemistry Type: Full‑Time Salary: $85,588 per year Location: Nelson Labs, Busch Campus, Rutgers University‑New Brunswick, Piscataway, NJ Overview The Fei Lab at Rutgers University is seeking a Research Associate with expertise in eukaryotic gene regulation and chromatin biology. The role involves contributing to ongoing research projects exploring molecular mechanisms of gene expression and chromatin function. The position provides an excellent research environment with mentoring and professional development support, including an Individual Development Plan. Requirements PhD or MD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field. At least four years of relevant research experience. Strong background in gene regulation, epigenetics, cellular and molecular biology, and biochemistry. Multiple publications as main author in relevant areas. Preferred Skills Experience with epigenomic assays (ATAC‑seq, ChIP‑seq, Cut & Run, etc.) is a plus, though training opportunities are available.
