Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport and maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
• Regularly meet with clients to review progress, discuss stability, plan future appointments, and determine discharge when appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans, adapting them to reflect clients' evolving needs.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments that capture clients' histories, needs, and treatment goals.
• Provide individual therapy sessions on a regular basis, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Engage in individual supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and foster professional development.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and address the comprehensive needs of clients.
• Adopt a growth mindset, seeking continuous improvement in clinical practices and fostering a culture of innovation within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at New Life Solutions Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our focus is on creating individualized care plans that resonate with each client’s unique circumstances, effectively addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in California.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating a record of effective client care.
• Proficient with technology, including the use of Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for documentation and communication.
• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services, particularly individual and family therapy.
• Skilled in conducting intake assessments, showcasing an ability to understand and navigate clients' initial needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and culturally competent care.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a thriving client caseload.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $75,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package includes a fee-for-service model with guaranteed payment rates, allowing clinicians to earn remuneration ahead of collections, alleviating financial stress associated with reimbursement timelines.
