Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to develop tailored therapy plans for clients based on their unique needs and history.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy tailored to individuals, couples, and families.
• Provide group therapy sessions aimed at fostering community and support among participants facing similar challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, integrating insights and feedback from various healthcare professionals.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and seminars, to remain informed about the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, spanning various demographics and mental health conditions. Our focus is on engaging with individuals and families who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. Understanding the unique context and needs of each client is crucial in effectively guiding them through their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of ethical and legal standards pertaining to mental health practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team setting.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Additional specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Experience with EMR software in a remote setting will be considered a strong asset.

Compensation and Benefits
