Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and convenience for both you and your clients. As a telehealth counselor, you will engage with clients via secure video sessions, allowing you to reach more individuals in need of your expertise. Our telehealth facility eliminates geographical barriers and supports clients who may have difficulty accessing traditional outpatient services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse clients including individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting to their unique situations.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring approaches are aligned with clients’ preferences and goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements while ensuring confidentiality.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in mental health to continually enhance your practice and apply new techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include individuals from various backgrounds, each facing distinctive challenges, whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues. Our telehealth services provide an opportunity to reach a broad demographic, including those who might not seek help in a traditional setting. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• At least 2 years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or telehealth capacity.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport building with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in specialized areas such as trauma informed care, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable. This specialization will enhance your ability to cater to the specific needs of our varied client base.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with caseload and experience.
