Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Real Estate: Manage property files and draft essential closing documents.
- Bank Closings: Oversee and coordinate files required for bank closings.
- Estate Administration: Prepare and file paperwork for probate proceedings.
- Estate Planning: Assist in drafting Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney.
- Healthcare Documents: Help prepare Healthcare Proxies and Living Wills.
- Help organize office
Qualifications
- Notary Public: Must hold a commission or be willing to obtain one upon hire.
- Experience: Prior experience in these practice areas is preferred.
- Training: We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Mindset: Strong entrepreneurial drive with an interest in business development.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently within a small-firm environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience).
- Retirement: 401(k) plan options.
- Time Off: Paid Time Off (PTO) package.
