About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for US Government Relations to lead and manage its domestic engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the U.S. Government, including Executive Offices, Agencies, and Congress, as well as with key third-party entities such as associations, think tanks, and non-governmental organizations. The primary focus of this role is to support the company's domestic growth strategy and advocacy agenda, particularly in the promotion of civil nuclear projects. The Vice President will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, develop and implement advocacy campaigns, and ensure the company is a leading voice in the public policy community. This is a remote position that requires a high level of expertise in government and industry relations. Applicants for the Vice President, US Government Relations position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in government or the private sector, with a strong background in trade advocacy issues. The role demands a deep understanding of legislative bodies, executive agencies, trade associations, and policy organizations, as well as experience in an industry with significant government contracting exposure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing integrated campaigns to support corporate business priorities and be adept at preparing and staffing senior executives for interactions with high-level policymakers. Expertise in key policy areas such as infrastructure, tax, trade, labor, safety, and waste management is essential, as is the ability to engage with a range of high-profile stakeholders.
