Paid Search Marketing Manager

Role Description

You'll own paid search strategy and execution across our entire portfolio. This is an IC role; you're not managing people, you're managing millions in ad spend. You'll work directly in the accounts daily while also thinking strategically about how to scale efficiently.

• Multi-brand complexity: Running campaigns for three brands that compete in overlapping markets.
• RSA, DSA, and beyond: Core mowing spans 200+ local markets across three brands.
• Seasonality is extreme: Lawn care demand swings 5x between winter and spring.
• Full-funnel ownership: Responsibility from ad impression through first service complete.
• Direct business impact: Paid search is our #1 acquisition channel.

Qualifications

• AI-native: Use AI tools to move faster.
• Deep in the data: Comfortable with Google Ads, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
• Systems thinker: Optimize campaigns and structure accounts for scale.
• Comfortable with ambiguity: Make decisions with incomplete data.
• Strong communicator: Explain technical details to non-specialists.
• Conversion-tracking fluent: Understand event tracking and attribution models.
• Bias for action: Prefer launching tests over lengthy planning cycles.

Requirements

• Own RSA and DSA strategy for core mowing across Google and Bing.
• Run and optimize PMax, AI Search Max, and Demand Gen campaigns.
• Define and manage tCPA, tROAS, and portfolio bid strategies.
• Own attribution tracking setup and conversion loop QA.
• Drive landing page testing and customer journey optimization.
• Manage campaigns with clear positioning and minimal cannibalization.
• Decide budget allocation across brands, markets, and campaign types.
• Run structured experiments on bidding strategies and ad copy.
• Build dashboards and surface insights.
