Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders to identify their unique needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

• Craft individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices, integrating therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, engaging clients with empathy and expertise to enhance their recovery processes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other members of the care team to provide cohesive and coordinated care for each client.

• Offer crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring that clients receive immediate and appropriate assistance.

• Educate clients and their families about the nature of addiction, recovery options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards associated with mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• Proven knowledge of substance use disorders, effective therapeutic modalities, and recovery-oriented care practices.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment, with demonstrated ability to engage clients in meaningful ways.

Compensation and Benefits\n
