Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while still maintaining a strong connection with your team and clients. The remote environment enables you to deliver therapeutic services in a comfortable space, which can enhance client interactions and foster a trusting atmosphere. Your schedule will generally be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though some evening shifts may be required to accommodate the needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and treatment goals of each client.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that assist clients in developing coping strategies, addressing underlying issues, and maintaining their recovery journey.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support and community involvement.

• Coordinate care with a team of mental health professionals, ensuring seamless integration of services and maintaining comprehensive communication via electronic health records (EHR).

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention as needed during times of acute distress.

• Educate clients and their families about the nature of substance use disorders, recovery processes, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

You will work primarily with individuals and families affected by substance use disorders, providing compassionate support as they navigate the complexities of recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in California.

• Strong understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and principles of recovery-oriented care.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a non-judgmental approach.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and maintaining patient records in compliance with privacy standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
