Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by their physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique challenges, leveraging a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Engage with patients undergoing rehabilitation for conditions ranging from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders, ensuring tailored care for each individual.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment methodologies as required to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers, answering questions and sharing insights about the rehabilitation process.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with patients, promoting a positive environment that fosters recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to optimize treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of patients including, but not limited to, those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, pediatric conditions such as developmental delays, and individuals with chronic pain or neurological challenges. This role requires not only technical skills but also the ability to connect with clients personally, understanding their emotional and psychological needs throughout the recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the appropriate regulatory body.
• A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatments.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
• Strong digital literacy, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and rehabilitation software.
• Proven ability to build rapport with patients and foster a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a rehabilitation setting or familiarity with specialized populations is highly valued. Candidates with advanced certifications in orthopedic, pediatric, or sports physical therapy will be considered favorably, as will those who have experience utilizing innovative treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
