Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient status to inform treatment decisions. Identify mental health diagnoses using standardized tools from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Develop, implement, and continually adjust individualized treatment plans that consider cultural diversity, unique patient needs, and desired outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to anticipate patient responses and monitor progress, adapting interventions as necessary to support optimal mental health outcomes.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient treatment records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
\n
• Collaboratively engage with patients and their families to co-create treatment objectives, while also addressing safety concerns and symptom management.

• Facilitate referrals by serving as a crucial link between patients and treatment providers, establishing supportive relationships with other clinicians and agencies involved in the care continuum.

• Contribute to the professional development of peers by providing education, supervision, and mentoring to students and interns.

• Assist with clinical collaboration, chart audits, and peer reviews as directed by clinical supervision to enhance team performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role will primarily be on providing outpatient therapy to patients and families affected by cancer. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• A current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working with oncology patients or individuals navigating chronic health conditions is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms will also provide an advantage in delivering effective remote care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role comes with a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 105,000, reflecting your expertise and contributions to Emory Mental Health and Psychological Center.
