CNC Machine Operator- Weekend Shift

Job Description Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: Alexandria, MN Pay Range: $23+/hour Shift: Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:30 AMto 5:30 PM What's the Job? Operate computer numerically controlled horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts. Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements. Mount workpieces securely and start machining operations, ensuring precision and quality. Perform in-process inspections and spot checks to verify conformance to specifications. Maintain machine functionality by monitoring coolant levels and performing basic machine adjustments as needed. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience in a factory or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand blueprints, process sheets, and instructions. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
