Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students’ mental health needs, strengths, and available resources, ensuring tailored support plans.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, setting clear goals and interventions based on the assessed needs of each student.
\n
• Work closely with teachers, school counselors, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care and create a support system for students.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning to students as needed, ensuring their immediate mental health needs are met.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, support groups, and psychoeducation classes, promoting a sense of community and shared understanding among students.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices and new therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on the student population within our partnered schools. You will address a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders, tailoring your approach to each individual’s unique circumstances. By fostering a safe and trusting environment, you will help children and adolescents navigate their challenges while supporting their emotional growth and development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• Minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, ideally with school-age children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and a commitment to employing these methods in practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
