Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience with K-2nd grade students preferred
• Knowledge of social/emotional disabilities and intervention strategies
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to children with social and emotional needs
• Develop and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress
