Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking an experienced and people-focused Area Human Resources Business Partner to support our growing operations across multiple locations. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices. The ideal candidate is a skilled employee relations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can navigate complex workplace situations with professionalism and discretion, and is passionate about supporting both employees and business leaders. Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, corrective action, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. Support employees by answering questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns. Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate workplace disputes to promote a respectful and productive work environment. Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives. Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices. Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and documentation. Partner with operational leaders to identify workforce challenges and implement proactive solutions. Assist with performance management processes, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations. Support onboarding, training, and leadership development initiatives. Deliver training programs related to employee relations, workplace behavior, compliance, and leadership effectiveness. Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices. Participate in special projects and strategic HR initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on employee relations. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Proven ability to conduct workplace investigations and manage sensitive employee relations matters. Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and HR teams. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed. Preferred Qualifications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification. Experience supporting operations, hospitality, food service, retail, distribution, or service-based industries. Formal training or certification in mediation, conflict resolution, or workplace investigations.
