Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored therapy plans aimed at addressing clients' unique mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy to diverse client groups.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family meetings, and couple interventions, fostering a collaborative environment for shared learning and development.

• Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic medical records (EMR) software to document clinical interactions and progress.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending educational workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients predominantly include individuals and families who may experience anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health challenges. We prioritize providing accessible care to underserved populations, and as such, our counselors play a vital role in breaking down barriers to mental health support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting, with a proven track record of delivering effective therapeutic services.

• Strong knowledge of ethical and legal standards pertinent to mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized experience in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
