Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and regular follow-ups with clients to evaluate their mental health status and progress.

• Designing and implementing personalized therapeutic treatment plans in alignment with evidence-based practices.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive approaches that acknowledge each client's unique background.

• Offering clients tools and coping mechanisms to manage their conditions, such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

• Documenting client progress meticulously using electronic health records (EHR) to ensure compliance and maintain confidentiality.

• Providing referrals to additional healthcare providers, like psychiatrists, when necessary, to support comprehensive treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, which includes individuals overcoming substance abuse challenges, experiencing mental health disorders like anxiety and depression, and those dealing with eating disorders. Our clientele comes from various cultural backgrounds, and your ability to tailor therapy approaches to meet their needs will be essential in promoting positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license, including LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health setting.
