Job Title New Reach Human Resources Assistant Department Office of Community Engagement Student Employment Type Federal Work-Study Responsibilities Upload, organize and maintain digital employee documents File and organize physical personnel records and conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy Maintain confidentiality of employee information and operational procedures Assist with organizing onboarding schedules, new hire packets and logistics for new hires Respond to basic HR-related inquiries Assist in developing HR tools, employee surveys and updating policy documents and employee handbook Other duties as assigned Qualifications Good interpersonal skills Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook Prior administrative or customer service experience is helpful, but not required Prior staff assistant or HR support experience is a plus Hours of Position Operational hours of the New Reach offices are Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm. Applicants must have sufficient time available during the operational hours to work between 6-8 hours per week.
