Boomer the Bobcat Mascot Department: Marketing and Communications Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study and Non-Federal Work-Study Responsibilities Attend and participate in Admissions events including Open Houses, Admitted Student Experience Attend and participate in university-wide events as Boomer Attend and participate in select department events as Boomer Participate in photos with prospective students and parents Participate in social media video and photo shoots as Boomer, as needed Qualifications High energy Exceptional interpersonal skills Excellent time-management skills Enthusiastic about representing Quinnipiac Ability to shoot photos/videos Height requirement 5’6” or taller to ensure best fit in the Boomer costume For health and safety, candidate must be physically active or have cardio endurance to wear a fur costume Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable Hours of Position On-Campus; Up to 8 hours per week Days, nights and weekends Required Documents for Application Application In-person meeting will be required for interviews Note to Faculty/Staff Applicants Only: If a final candidate is a current or previous Quinnipiac employee, the hiring manager must obtain a reference check from the candidate’s current or former manager before making an offer of employment.
