ABE/GED Bilingual - Adjunct Faculty Continuing Education

Spanish-Speaking GED Instructors provide academic instruction inSpanish to adult learners preparing for the GED exam. ThisInstructor position supports students across academic areasincluding but not limited to test preparation, science, socialstudies, reading, and math (algebra and geometry). Daytime availability required. Classes will be held in partnershipwith Baltimore County Public Schools. Class schedules may vary, butall classes will be held during daytime hours (8:00am to 3:00pm)during the school year (late August to mid‑June). Campus locations: Essex, Dundalk, Catonsville & OwingsMills Minimum Requirements BA/BS degree and at least 1 year experience and/or trainingteaching adult literacy required. Bilingual written and verbalfluency in Spanish and English required. Ability to deliver adult literacy instruction in Spanish. Class Specific Essential Duties Lesson preparation, instruction, and assessment. Recordkeeping/data collection for grant reporting.
