Our client is a well-established leader in the manufacturing industry , they are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. This position will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:
- Accurately process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment disbursements.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including customer invoicing, payment application, and collections activities.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reporting support.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain organized financial records in accordance with established standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in AP and AR .
- Prior experience within the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy.
