Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health statuses, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing psychological support and coping strategies tailored to each client's needs.

• Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive treatment plans for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) to document client interactions and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population that encompasses various age groups and cultural backgrounds. Clients may present with a range of mental health disorders, including those related to trauma, addiction, or severe anxiety and mood disorders. A strong understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity is essential to effectively address the unique needs and experiences of each individual, fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes trust and openness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to apply evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with a wide range of personality types.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and other computer applications relevant to mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
