The Optimist is seeking an enthusiastic Pastry Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! An Optimist Pastry Cook is responsible for executing the Executive Pastry Chef’s pastry, dessert, and bread recipes to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency. He/she must demonstrate a basic knowledge of recipe unit conversions and garde manger skills. He/she must take direction well and communicate effectively with team members, while managing their assigned station and maintaining a neat, clean, and organized back-of-house space. The ideal candidate must exercise quick problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise. Competitive pay - $16 to $24/hr. - based on experience and ability.
