Lecturer Pool AY 26-27: Department of Educational Psychology / SPED Programs

Part‑time Lecturer Pool Position Position available: One or more temporary, part‑time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2026 and/or Spring Semester 2027. Department of Educational Psychology Department of Educational Psychology provides a unique range of professional, academic, and clinical training for Special Education teachers, Marriage and Family Therapists, School Counselors, and School Psychologists. Duties of the Position Seek part‑time lecturers to teach courses in MFT, P.P.S. credential, or Education Specialist (special education) programs, and/or supervise students or student learning. Teaching assignments include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online. The policy and expectation of the California State University is that all faculty members will perform all of their duties within the state of California. Rank and Salary Lecturer AY (Range 2): $5,507 - $6,677 Lecturer AY (Range 3): $6,221 - $13,224 Lecturer AY (Range 4): $6,825 - $14,523 Lecturer AY (Range 5): $8,593 - $15,211 The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Dates of Appointment Fall Semester: 08/17/26 – 12/18/26 Spring Semester: 01/19/27 – 05/21/27 Qualifications Candidates must have a Master’s degree in addition to relevant professional experience and credentials or licenses, including Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Special Education, Education, School Counseling, or School Psychology.
