Quality InspectorOur client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the quality assurance department supporting production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Houston, TXPay Range: $18.38Shift: Days (Monday to Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm)What's the Job?Verify electrical and mechanical parts dimensions, functionality, and visual conformance according to established procedures.Interpret blueprints and military specifications to ensure parts meet required standards.Utilize inspection tools and test equipment such as coordinated measuring machines, optical comparators, and PMI gauges.Perform first piece inspections on mechanical and electrical parts or assemblies.Monitor and process rejected materials using Oracle Quality Module, ensuring proper disposition and documentation.What's Needed?Basic understanding of inspection tools, test equipment, and measurement techniques.Knowledge of blueprints, military specifications, and quality standards.Basic math skills and familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.Ability to perform basic setup and calibration of inspection instruments.Willingness to attend training for ASQ CMI and IPC 610 testing standards.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with growth potential.Engagement in meaningful quality assurance activities that impact product excellence.Supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement.Access to training and development in quality inspection standards.Full-time, temporary employment with consistent work hours.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
