We are seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Care Staff to join our residential team. In this role, you will provide hands-on support to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, implement individualized support plans, and promote independence, dignity, and community participation. This is more than a caregiving position, it is an opportunity to positively impact lives while helping individuals build confidence, essential life skills, and meaningful connections within their community.

$1,000 sign-on bonus available!

Position Details:

• Location: North Hills
• Full-Time, Part-Time and Relief positions available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, supervision, and support in a residential home setting
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, personal care, self-help, social, and life skills development
• Implement and track behavioral programs/service plans
• Maintain accurate client and program documentation
• Plan, lead, and supervise recreational activities, community outings, and group experiences
• Transport clients using agency vehicles in accordance with safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred (not required)
• Minimum 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related neurodivergent populations
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
• Computer skills for electronic charting
• Passion for the work and a desire to learn

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
