Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health status and therapy needs.

• Design and implement individualized therapy strategies using various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting approaches based on the unique dynamics and needs of each client.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans in consultation with clients to foster engagement and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular professional development workshops to stay updated on the latest research and practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a LPC with Greystone Counseling Center, you will address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from different age groups and cultural backgrounds, which requires sensitivity and an understanding of how societal factors influence mental health experiences. The ability to cultivate rapport and trust with clients is essential in fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.
\n
• Minimum of three years of clinical counseling experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in mental health clinics or community health settings.

• Solid grasp of legal and ethical standards governing therapeutic practices.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated by the ability to connect with diverse individuals and foster positive therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies that facilitate clinical documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our benefits package includes:
