Overview Open competitive internship for information technology professionals. Responsibilities Assist in maintaining, posting, and updating social media profiles with appropriate content. Provide end‑user hardware and software support in a help desk environment. Assist with social media analytics and reporting. Install, configure, maintain, and test computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Develop macros, web pages, and simple modifications to existing software applications. Code, test, and debug application programs to create new or modify existing business applications. Connect cables and wires for networks and ensure proper operation. Maintain inventory records and documentation for equipment. Develop and disseminate newsletters, graphics, charts, forms, or handouts. Conduct community outreach. Drive a vehicle to and from work sites, meetings, and training locations. Qualifications Resident of Los Angeles County. Registered as a member of Delete The Divide. Current participant in the Per Scholas Digital Navigator Program. Age 18 years or older. Physical Class II – light: capable of occasional light lifting (10‑pound limit) and light bending, stooping, or squatting. Valid California Class C driver’s license or ability to use alternative transportation.
