Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of therapeutic services tailored to individual and family needs. Key duties include:

• Conducting initial assessments to formulate effective treatment plans for clients.

• Providing therapy sessions for couples, families, and individuals, focusing on dynamics such as conflict resolution, communication improvement, and emotional regulation.

• Addressing specific concerns such as alcohol abuse, grief, medical issues, and blended family relationships.

• Facilitating family sessions that include various members to enhance understanding and support across relationships.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and organizational standards.

• Engaging in continuous professional development to remain current with the latest methodologies and practices within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. This role places significant emphasis on community-based mental health care, ensuring that each client receives personalized attention. The therapist will manage situations involving adjustment to separation and divorce, mother/daughter conflicts, job stress, and communication difficulties, helping clients develop coping strategies and improved relational dynamics.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

Agility in working with both adults and child/adolescent populations is highly preferred. Candidates who have experience in community health settings or who are newly licensed are encouraged to apply.
