Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center is seeking a full-time, dedicated Mental Health Therapist with a focus on mood disorders to join our outpatient practice in Augusta, Georgia. Work Environment\n

This role is specifically designed to be remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining the benefits of team collaboration through video consultations and regular team meetings. Our clinicians enjoy a supportive atmosphere that promotes professional growth and teamwork. The regular work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional rotational shifts for evenings and weekends, accommodating our clients’ varied schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathetic assessments to evaluate the mental health challenges presented by clients, specifically focusing on mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate closely with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and treatment history.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment methods, and practical self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions based on data collected from client feedback and assessment tools.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create an integrated treatment approach for our clients.

• Maintain rigorous documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and assessments, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development sessions to stay informed about new research and best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes individuals of various age groups and backgrounds who are dealing with mood disorders and require specialized support. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a strong preference for those experienced in treating mood disorders.

• Proficient understanding and application of evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in building rapport and trust with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
