Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities that directly impact patient care. Your key duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, focusing on the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families, outlining treatment options and self-care strategies for managing mood disorders.

• Monitoring clients' progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Working cohesively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Staying current with the latest developments in mood disorder treatments to enhance clinical practice.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
