Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and create safety plans for participants, ensuring that their unique circumstances are understood and addressed.

• Document all client interactions on the same day, especially for those identified as being at higher risk of crisis intervention.
\n
• Complete critical incident reports within 24 hours as required, facilitating timely and effective responses to incidents that impact client safety.
\n
• Provide after-hours phone support for care coordination on an alternating basis, ensuring that clients have access to support when needed.
\n
• Work proactively with participants to prevent crisis service utilization by identifying triggers and deploying effective coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain and manage crisis alerts in coordination with county crisis services, ensuring that appropriate interventions are readily available for participants.
\n
• Facilitate transitions between hospital/inpatient services and our program, working closely with hospital staff to ensure smooth and efficient discharges.
\n
• Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques to support clients in high-stress situations, serving as the Clinician of the Day when necessary.

The therapist in this role will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals managing chronic mental health conditions, those experiencing acute crisis situations, and participants seeking general mental well-being support. This ensures that you will engage with a variety of therapeutic needs and challenges, providing fulfilling and impactful care.

Qualifications\n

• An independent mental health license in the state of residence is required, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings, with a strong understanding of community resources and crisis intervention strategies.

• Proficient in assessment, crisis management, and care coordination, with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
